Michael Poston is the senior and founding partner of Poston Denney & Killpack, PLLC. Mike has over 25 years of experience in accounting and management consulting with both small and large companies. In addition to his many years of public accounting experience his experience includes serving as a senior accountant for a Fortune 300 publicly traded company He works with clients in a variety of industries including financial institutions, professional services (medical, legal, and engineering), retail, manufacturing, and construction.
His professional focus has included:
- Planning, conducting and managing audits and other financial reporting engagements.
- Specializing in analyzing business operations and making recommendations for enhancing overall performance.
- Assisting management in designing accounting systems.
- Providing financial and organizational consulting services to companies of many sizes and in various industries.
- Federal and multi-state tax preparation for individuals and businesses.
- Providing consulting services to clients with respect to budgeting, financing, tax planning, financial reporting and recruiting matters.
Mike graduated from the
University of
Idaho in
Moscow,
Idaho with a bachelor?s of science degree in business with an emphasis in accounting. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Idaho Society of Certified Public Accountants. Mike holds CPA licenses in both
Idaho and
Wyoming.
Mike lives in Rigby, Idaho with his family and in his spare time he enjoys sports, travel, boating, and family activities.
